Human Resources:
With over 350 permanent staff, our HR team are kept very busy. They look after traditional human resources responsibilities such as legislation, employment contracts and health and safety, plus some interesting areas which are fairly unique and specific to the veterinary profession.
Recruitment:
With a fast growing need to recruit as we open new clinics across the UK, our recruitment team are certainly hard workers! They design our recruitment literature, process all employment applications to Vets Now, offer advice and conduct telephone interviews to find and attract the best candidates to join the Vets Now team!
Staff Development:
Providing the training and support to continually develop the standards of clinical care that Vets Now delivers, our Staff Development team organise our inductions, onsite clinical training programme, training roadshows, annual congress and more! They also work with our Clincal Director to ensure that Vets Now continues to help shape the future of Emergency and Critical Care in the UK.
Business Development:
With a company that’s growing as fast as we are, you only have to imagine how busy this team are. With further expansion planned, business development travel across the UK and are responsible for identifying and opening new clinics and recruiting daytime practices to use our existing centres.
Marketing:
Our marketing team are passionate about promoting Vets Now’s excellent clinical standards and professional service to the veterinary profession and pet owners alike. As well as managing our developing brand and public profile, the Vets Now Marketing team conduct research into the profession, help to manage relationships with all our member practices and promote our external training courses and annual Emergency and Critical Care Congress.
IT & Facilities:
Ensuring that our clinics (and support office) run efficiently the IT & Facilities team look after clinic equipment, uniform, telephone and IT systems. With over 30 clinics and some of the most state of the art equipment in the profession, our IT & Facilities team is dedicated to ensuring that our infrastructure meets the needs of our rapidly expanding business.
Finance:
Making sure that the clinics can function efficiently, the finance team support purchasing, invoicing, sales and of course payroll. As clinic network nationwide grows, so does the finance team! – a team of dedicated professionals they’re all a whizz with figures and a very busy bunch!
Client Care:
With over 6,000 clients per month, Vets Now’s Client Care department is constantly busy ensuring that our high standards of clinical and client care are consistently met. Collating client feedback and concerns and ensuring that they are shared and reported as appropriate across the clinics, senior management and the regional teams is also the responsibility of Client Care.
Regional Support Teams:
Although they are not actually based in the Support Office, our three Regional Teams come under the support staff banner. Each geographical region has a Regional Clinical Manager to support and develop clinical standards, a Regional Business Manager to assist in the efficient running of our clinics and a Regional Support Officer to manage the operational development of our clinic teams in clinic policies and procedures.
