Support Office Roles
The companies support office in Dunfermline, Fife is the home to what are the more traditional business functions.
- Human Resources – with over 250 permanent staff and ever expanding need to recruit as we open new clinics across the UK our HR team are kept busy. You’ll find HR look after the traditional aspects of this role such as legislation, recruitment and health and safety plus some interesting areas which are fairly unique and specific to the veterinary profession.
- Operations – ensuring that our clinics (and support office) run efficiently the operations team look after client care, clinical care and facilities. And with over 5,000 clients a month, 30 clinics and some of the most state of the art equipment available in the profession this is no mean feat!
- Finance – ensuring that the clinics can function efficiently the finance team support both purchasing and sales, with a team of dedicated professionals they’re a busy bunch!
- Marketing – our marketing team just love promoting Vets Now to both the veterinary profession and pet owners alike, as well as managing our brand and public profile we know they love the pink fluffy stuff, especially photo shoots with cute pets!
- Staff Development – providing the training and support to continually develop the standards of clinical care that Vets Now deliver and generally picking up the chalice of developing the future of Emergency and Critical Care in the UK is the remit of our Staff Development team.
- IT – our IT infrastructure is fairly extensive and our IT team is dedicated to ensuring that it meets the needs of our rapidly expanding business, what they don’t know about IT isn’t worth knowing!
- Business Development – with a company that’s grown as fast as we have you only have to imagine how busy this team area. With further expansion planned business development are responsible for opening new clinics and recruiting daytime practices to use our existing centers.
