Marley - Gillingham
When 6 year old Marley was brought to Vets Now Gillingham he was extremely ill and in a great deal of distress. Following an assessment by the clinical team things didn't look good for Marley as he was suffering from a painful gut obstruction and was also extremely de-hydrated.
Marley was immediately put on a drip in order to stabilise his condition and relieve his distress. As soon as his condition had improved Marley was rushed to the operating room where he underwent lengthily surgery to repair his gut obstruction.
When a brave Marley emerged from the operating room he appeared exhausted from his ordeal, at which point it was decided that it would be best that he was kept in overnight in order that his condition could be monitored by the team of emergency and critical care professionals. In the morning Marley had already brightened up and was transferred to his daytime vet to continue his care.
Marley's owner Natalie commented:
‘I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the vet and the nurses in Gillingham for the high level of veterinary care that Marley received'
