Role Summary
A Vets Now Vet Nurse is a pivotal role within the emergency team, by assisting the Veterinary Surgeon in: surgery, anaesthesia and clinical procedures this hands on role will give you the opportunity to grow your clinical skills. Your role will be further supported by our regular On-Site Training Programme, ensuring that both your ECC knowledge and your career are continually growing.

Working as Veterinary Nurse in our emergency clinic will provide you with an interesting and stimulating work environment. Your nursing role will involve supporting clients with help and advice under the direction of the duty Vet. Also, you will provide nursing care to critical and hospitalised patients, including: clinical monitoring, drug administration, nursing management and excellent client care.

Role Requirements
You must be: fully qualified, RCVS registered and have at least 6 months experience in small animal practice which must have been in an English speaking environment. You should also be comfortable working sole charge and confident in your clinical ability.

Clinic Description
Our Witham clinic is based in a private hospital, Spring Lodge, which is well equiped and spacious giving more than adequate kenneling and theatre space. Within this busy clinic you will have acess to a full range of emergency equipment, including ultrasound, multi-parameter monitor, I Stat machine, IDEXX machine and much more.

Working Pattern
Rotas are managed at local level by the Senior Veterinary Nurse. This position would be working approx 5 nights per month predominantly at weekends.
